Sorry if this is a dumb question.

How do I find the system info file on my Vista Home Repmium computer. An
equipment product manufacturer who is troubleshooting a problem for me wants
me to send it to him.

Thanks.

I'm on my XP machine at work so I'm doing this more from memory than
anything...but,

Click Start | Control Panel
You should thn find somehting on the lines of system maintenance, select
that and then find system information.

If this doesn't work, I can either get more specific information this
afternoon or maybe someone else can correct me.

Click the start button. Click run. In the run dialogue box type "msinfo32"
(without quotes). Hit enter. Sysinfo will appear.

You get there the same way that previous OS's get there.
(Windows key-Pause key at the same time) It's a 2 hander ...but easy.

It should be right there under Accessories. Or click Windows key + R to open
the run command and type in msinfo32 > click OK.
