system restore failure at various restore points

I downloaded a vista update thereafter font sizes,desktop icons all have
reduced in siz.
websites are appering in half of their sizes and are either centrally
alligned or left alligned.
I tried to do system restore at various levels but none was successful.
Please guide how can I get rid of that maliscious vista update which has
made my computer miserable..

I've had exactly the same problem! PC won't do system restore in normal or
Safe Mode and can't get driver to backdate.
Hope Itel can come up with a solution soon...... unless anyone out there has
any good ideas?
