You should have a Recovery Partition on your Hard drive to take your computer
back to the factory standard.
Read either a manual that came with your computer, or go to the
Manufacturers' website, or ring them, to find out how to make the recovery
disk for your make and model.
Also, at Startup/power on, there should be an message at bottom of screen,
saying what F key to hit to start Recovery option.
Back up all data before doing this, as it all be lost in the process.
