If this is the wrong place, I'm sorry. Go ahead and move/delete it.

A while ago, I did a system restore to get rid of something my lapto
didn't agree with, and it worked great.
But it set up system restore for itself to do it when I shut my lapto
off and I didn't realize.
But now, when I turn my computer on after it restarting/shutting down
I get this message, akin to; "Windows has put you on a temporar
profile, anything recent you do will be deleted when you turn th
computer off."
So, after twice of this happening, I found the automatic system restor
and turned it off...

But about an hour ago, my laptop got overheated and shut down, as it'
prone to do. After it cooled down and I turned it back on, I saw tha
ALL of my recent items had been deleted.

Now I just don't know what do, I really want this fixed
