That's what happened -- a few minutes after I posted this plea for help, a
box popped up telling me that system restore was ready to run and asked me
to select a restore point. I did so, waited, then the system told me it
could not restore to that point. I exited it and forgot about it.
Problem is -- I installed a program a couple of days ago and it ran just
fine. Then, I downloaded new USB drivers for the program (it enables me to
program my GPS units from my computer) and after the new drivers were added,
the program will not run -- I get a message that the registry values are
incorrect, please reinstall.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but that doesn't work.
Oh, well.
