Trying to restore my system but when I attempt to see the restore points
Vista tells me the wizard is already running the this program will close.
Any ideas??

Do not launch System Restore twice. Wait for it to gather the required
information, it can take some time.

System restore always take sometime to start as per ram you using.........
if you use above 2 gb ram means it will come fast....

I think that's what I did. The list of restore point were there
but behind ohter windows.

to restore limited file or folder i could not change from the C: to the
external harddrive. the search
came back "none found" despite a successful backup.

i could not change from the C: to the external harddrive. the *.fol search
on C: came back "none found" despite a successful backup.
