System Restore Undid SP2

I used system restore to return my system to an earlier configuration, but
not because of SP2 (which had installed and worked perfectly. I restored
back to it's original xp installation, with no updates except one still
there. When I go back to Windows Update to try and install SP2 and other
updates, it thinks I've already done them all, and tells me I don't need any.
My add/remove programs in from the control panel, confirms I've only got one
update installed and I'm on sp1. How do I fix this.
