System restore in Vist Home Premium

I tried to use system restore because my machine started acting strangely
after an update, but after the machine rebooted, the message said" SYSTEM
RESTORE FAILED...UNSPECIFIED ERROR". WTF??

If you are using Norton, etc, disable it before attemtping System Restore.
If the prob stll persists with SR, try doing it in Safe Mode.
