System restore won't use HDD

I just got a new primary HDD and planned on restoring my pics etc. of
of the backup created using the MS utility on my secondary HDD. Whe
using the Advanced Restore option it only gives me the option of my DV
and DVDR drives. All of my stuff is locked in restore files on m
secondary HDD! Please help

I got it to see the second HDD as a potential backup device but now i
can't find the image
