system will sporadically lock up/ blue screen after update

winders 98 , after updating.. I've had nothing but problems blue screening..
having to reboot system.. Anyone have an answer ..please

Try using the QFECheck tool. If it is on your system it is easy to do. Just
go to
Start
Run
In the dialog box to run simply type in QFECheck and then ok
The tool will come up and then you look through the registered updates for
anything showing up in red. I used this tool often and it is the best way to
find out if a update has not completed the install or is corrupted. Make sure
to expand out all branches of the tree.
