System Tray Windows Security Alert, SP Two, Win XP Pro

How does one remove the Windows security shield from the sys tray?

Double click to open the Security Center.
On the left side click "Change the way..."
Place a check by what ever is causing the warning and click OK.

Also be sure you have a substitute for whatever you are not using.
All of those three items are essential to safe computing.
