Hi guys. I'd searched the topics and found out that there are several
people having this problem, but none of them got a solution. So I
reposted it as I got that problem myself.

So, I reformatted my comp that day and installed Windows XP SP2.
Updated critical updates and such. Rebooted and stuffs seem to turn
out ok UNTIL I notice that my processes started to lag, very.

Also when I looked into my Task Manager I manage to find out that the
pesky SYSTEM is using most of my resources, heck, even my paging file.

SYSTEM's high memory consumption on my computer makes my other
applications not responding and my windows is rendered useless. It all
happened after the update. Gosh.

I'd changed the priority of IE7 so that I could post here.

Anyone please help me?

Thanks in advance.

High CPU utililisation in the System process indicates a problem with a
Device Driver. Review what device drivers you have installed. Look for
newer ones at the manufacturer's site. Check whether a BIOS update is
required.

Check in at Windows Update and install all new Windows Update software
offered, then scan again. Install any critical updates offered as well as
927891.
