I'm new here on the boards, so sorry if this is not the forum for this but we
are looking for a Microsoft Systems Engineer who is also able to code in
C#.NET. Job in DC area, see skills below. If interested email
. Thanks and sorry again if this is not the right place
for this.

Specific Technical Responsibilities:
• Skills - Windows OS Scripting, IIS Scripting, SQL Server Scripting,
C#.NET, WCF/Web Services, SOAP/XML.
• IIS - understand how to install and properly set up web sites and user
permissions and security options; both web sites and FTP sites; know how to
use Windows scripts and .Net Managed APIs to set up and deploy IIS in an
automated way.
• SQL Server - understand how to install and configure SQL Server through
..Net SMO (Server Management Objects) or through windows scripts; set up user
permissions and accounts
• Clustering & Load Balancing - Ability to setup SQL Server in clustered
configuration and ability to network load balance or cluster IIS
• Installing, configuring, and administering Microsoft Server and Microsoft
Active Directory. Ideally, the individual will have experience with
configuring a Microsoft Server installation to authenticate against an LDAP
directory other than Active Directory (or to LDAP via AD in the middle);
however, equivalent expertise is acceptable.
• Experience with setting up SSL on Windows Servers and knowledge of Windows
network security issues; knowledge of DNS
• IIS 7, SQL Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 is ideal but solid knowledge
of IIS 6, SQL Server 2005 and Windows Server 2003 is acceptable
• Desired experience/skills (not required): Interoperability with Java
through web services or other methods is a plus, Hyper-V & virtualization,
experience working at hosting service provider or data center.
