Systray Tooltips

I recently inherited a windows Vista machine (previously used WinXP). On the
WinXp machine I see tooltips when I mouse-over any of the icons on the
taskbar, open toolbars, and icons in the systray.

On the Vista machine, no tooltips appear when hovering over the systray icons.

Is this normal behavior? Is there an option to display systray tooltips?

Hi,

Click start, type Control Folders and hit <enter>. Make sure you are not
using classic folders, then on the View tab enable the line to show pop=up
descriptions.
