Take Updates with me?

My parents have dial-up. I am trying to run through updates quickly for them
(they have never updated) but there are a TON of updates that would take
weeks do get over dial-up. Is there anyway for me to put them on a USB drive
or CD and install them? How do I know which ones to install? Is there a
"Mobile Update" that would search the drive and know which installs to use or
would I just have to guess which ones to do?

Wow, thank you. Is there any way to know which of those update they'll need
(like the Windows Update scan does) or do I just start installing all of them?

You can still use their dial-up to visit and scan for updates if you like.
Just let it take the 20+ minutes to scan for necessary updates, find out
what they need and then install it from your list.

Also - it doesn't hurt anything to re-install an update, so whether or not
you do that is up to you. (Just install them all, that is.)

I did not put the January Updates in there - and on the 'Purely Optional'
updates - unless your parents have some pretty nice machines - I am unsure I
would put Media Player 11 or IE7 on them... ;-)

You can get ISO (CD) images of past security updates from here
