Task bar mystery

The task bar on my laptop is now on the left side of the screen after my son
fiddled with it! How can I change it back to appear on the bottom of the
screen?

Right click on the taskbar and make sure that lock the taskbar is no
checked
then click and drag a empty part of the bar and drag to the ne
location (can be any of the four sides of the screen

dont,forget to lock it again afterwards ;

To move the taskbar

left Click an empty space on the taskbar, and then hold down the mouse
button as you drag the taskbar to one of the four edges of the
desktop. When the taskbar is where you want it, release the mouse
button.

then after it gets where you want it just right click hit properties
then check the box lock taskbar
