I seem to have lost the ability to see the task bar thumb nails, I tried
going through the control panel and to task bar and start up menu but the
option is not highlighted. Am flummoxed. please help, have I uninstalled
something I shouldn`t have?!

Jen2008, please don't use all caps, it's considered rude and shouting.

Perhaps explain exactly what is the problem and what operating system you
have and then maybe you can be directed to the correct newsgroup or in the
alternative, someone may know the answer.

At the moment, taskbar thumbnails, means nothing unless you are asking about
"programs are not minimised to the taskbar".

I wasn`t shouting! It has just been a long day and I wasn`t looking at what I
was typing! Never mind, I`m sure they`re pointless, thanks anyway.

Doesn't matter. I thought my guess about programs not minimized to the
taskbar was pretty good though <grin>

Come on Bear did you ever stop and think this may be a new poster and they
didn't know where to post to? I think a better answer would have been " Jen
this is a Windows Update newsgroup and although you may get an answer you
limit your responses." Then instruct the user where the best answer could be
found. How easy it is to forget we all had to start somewhere.

Perhaps it was a legitimate question and I didn't want to assume anything as
you do?
