Hi,

Using Vista Ultimate when I press Ctrl+Alt+Del and choose Start Task Manager
I get a screen without a title bar, or any buttons at the top. All that
displays is Task, Status and the running items. At the bottom of the window
End Task, Switch To and New Task are displayed. I can close the window with
Alt+F4, but I would prefer to have the old look back. Any suggestions?

TIA

Hi, Shane.

Don't panic! (To quote MVP Malke.)

That situation is startling the first time, but entirely normal. And easy
to do accidentally.

You've somehow entered the special mode whose name I can't recall (no, not
"Twilight Zone" <g>), probably by double-clicking in the margin of Task
Manager. Double-click there again to get the usual display back again.
I've forgotten exactly where to double-click, but in the white area near the
bottom of the TM window is one good place.

Double-click the empty area between the window border and the top of the
columnar displays to restore the buttons and menus.
