On my Vista machine, I record video from two web cams. The capture
software displays live video feed and indicates recording state.
I just setup the video software to be run by Task Scheduler at the
same time every day. After 12-hours the task is set to terminate.
At the proper time, Task Scheduler shows the application is running
and I see video files being created. But the capture application
windows is not visible and does not show on the Task Bar or Task
Manager. After the 12-hour limit it keeps running. In Scheduler I try
stop and dispable, but it keeps running. I can only stop the task by
rebooting the machine.
How do I get Task Scheduler to open up the application so I can see it
and monitor the live stream? How can I get the task to stop?
