I have Vista Home Basic and a few days ago the desktop icons all
vanished along with the task bar vanished. I opened up task manager,
told it to run explorer.exe and everything came back. Today everything
vanished again, and when I tried doing what I did before it started
flickering on and off. I've been running Adaware, Registry cleaners,
Windows Advanced Care, and now Spybot Search and Destroy. Does anyone
know what else I can do to fix this? I don't know what's wrong or what
happened to make it do this.
