Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums so please bear with me.

My 2 year old decided that it would be fun to 'play computers' with my
laptop and she has pressed a load of buttons, she also grabbed the mouse
and randomly clicked. Yep, she did all this in the time it took me to
run across the room and stop her! She is a cheeky monkey.

Anyway, I don't think she has done any lasting damage but my taskbar is
now on the right hand side of my screen, not along the bottom.

It's not locked and I can't move it! I know how to move it (just click
inside the bar in an empty space, hold down and move) but it's not
complying. I have checked and checked again that it's not locked and
indeed I have tried locking it and then unlocking it, but that makes no
difference.

Please help, I really don't like it on the side like that!

Oh, and in future I will be closing my laptop or locking it whenever I
get up from it! lol

Thanks

latinainglesa Hi.
Right click on the taskbar and make sure it is not locked. Left click
on the taskbar again and while holding the mouse button down move the
curser all the way down to the bottom of your screen (it will look as
though it is not dragging anything) and then release the mouse button.
Then relock the taskbar.
