Taskbar thumbnail won't go away

Heya,

The thumbnail of a window that pops up when I mouse over the taskbar
icons won't go away when I move the mouse away. It will stay up until
I click on the icon to open the window, and then I have to minimize it
again.

Any ideas why the thumbnail won't go away? Running Home Premium Aero
on an HP dv9500t.

Hi oj,

Have you tried to see if a computer restart, ot turning the taskbar
thumbnails off and on will clear the problem?

No, it doesn't help. I guess I'll just turn them off for now, as it's

oj,

You can see if running a "sfc /scannow" (no quotes) command can find
and fix the problem if it is a system file acting up somewhere. This
will show you how.
