Taskbar Window Preview Not Working

I can't preview windows in my taskbar anymore. I went into the taskbar
settings in control panel and the "Show Window Previews(thumbnails)" option
was greyed out. I have Windows Aero enabled. Any assistance with this problem
would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem and tried your solution, but it didn't seem to work
for me. Any other ideas? Thanks!
