Friends,
I am new user of Live Mail. Is configured to send
and receive messages every time you start it. But I see that the
start, it complies with 37 tasks, most
unnecessary, because I just want to send and receive messages,
nothing more ... Where do I set the amount of tasks
application? Thank you.

What are these other tasks?

Is it perhaps synching folders that you don't want to synch?

Is this an HTTP or IMAP account?

With an IMAP account you can Right click on a folder in the folder pane,
select Properties and change the synch options for that folder.

For an HTTP account I don't know if that is an option.

If those are folders in your Hotmail account that you don't need, try
deleting them there. There doesn't seem to be any way to get rid of
Hotmail synchronization. E.g. even when I am just synchronizing News any
Hotmail folders which have been downloaded get "synchronized" too, even
though my Hotmail account is not my default Mail account and even though I
don't even have that account marked for checking (or any E-mail account
marked for checking) and in fact, don't even have *any* checking requested.
WLMail _still_ synchronizes downloaded Hotmail folders every time! YMMV.

BTW I think that screw up has finally messed up my newsgroup synchronization
too. E.g. only some of my news accounts are still being properly
synchronized. Very annoying. More annoying that there doesn't seem to be
any documented, reliable and simple repair procedures. Apparently it is
just supposed to work and never break. Ha! ; ]

Good luck
