how to tell if the running operating system is a 64 bit or not?

is there a script to tell the version of OS and if it is a 64 bit or 32 bit
windows?

it is for windows 2003 server and vista.

The two scripts linked here should help:

The version number probably indicates whether the OS is 32 or 64 bit.
Someone else may know how to tell.
