Have you ever investigated how SpamCop does this?
(
http://spamcop.net )
I've been an active member for many years, and I use them to
report any spam that manages to slip through both my ISP's filter
and my mail client's spam filter.
Anyway, they have an option to "Show technical details".
The amount of code it requires to find the true origin of a spam
email is amazing. There is no way all of that could be added to
a simple client like Windows Mail.
