plz plz helpme. im not bril on a comp, so plz keep it simple, thnx. but i
cannot get rid of TelsaPlus, when my partner was browsing the internet lots
of windows opened and he accidently pressed something and a warning came up
that our comp is infected. i have norton and have run a scan and it says my
comp is not infected. i think some sort of advert has been downloaded, but i
am stuck with it as my background image!!!!! it wont go away. i tried to
reset my comp to an earlier date and it wont do it. TelsaPlus is the name -
anyone heard of it and knows what to do???? - please help me - thnx!!

Try scanning in Safe Mode (tapping F8 while booting up) and then try some
online scans too:

Online Virus/Trojan Scans and Vulnerability Checks
http://virusall.com/downscan.shtml (Panda & Housecall)
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html (Bitdefender)

Online Scan By Multiple Applications (Just upload any suspected file to it):
http://virusscan.jotti.org/

Microsoft Windows Live Safety Center:
http://safety.live.com/site/en-US/default.htm

Remove spyware:
Adaware SE
http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ (look for free download link)
Alternative download link:
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/fil...k,Top10,00.asp

Spybot Search and Destroy
http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html

SpywareBlaster
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/

CWShredder
http://www.trendmicro.com/cwshredder/
