I noticed that some (50) new folders were created after running windows
updates on my Win2k advanced Server ex: e:\06c845631c551c839f3e48514489de.
they have a subfolder ex: \update which contains .dll files. My ? is can I
delete these files?

Thank you

Hi,

Yes, you can delete those folders/files. Usually, the updates
deletes them their self when they are finished, but that haven't
happened on your computer for some reason.

Did you install the updates? Did you reboot the machine?

We installed the updates, but did not reboot after each update. we rebooted
at the end of the day when there were no users on the server.
