What you're referring is not your Temporary Internet Files
folder. It's what's called a "junction point". Here's an
article that provides a pretty good explanation of junction
points.

To view your actual TIF folder, do the following.
Go to Control Panel and double click Internet Options.
On the General page under Browsing History, hit the Settings
button.
In Temporary Internet Files and History Settings, hit the View
files button.
This should open a folder similar to this one.
C:\Users\YOURACCOUNT\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windo ws\Temporary
Internet Files
