Hello,
We have problems with a Terminal Server in a SBS 2008 Premium environment.
Our network is as following configured: the first server is the SBS 2008
server, our second server is a Windows Server 2008, with Terminal Server
activated. We have use the following manual:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...39(WS.10).aspx
On the Terminal Server would the TS-license server not issued open Windows
Server 2008 Users CAL's, so we cannot external login. On only one computer we
can login. The license are correct activated. The license controle don't find
any error or warning. In the eventlog we also don't find errors related to
Terminal Server. The only message we get is on the TS-licensemanager, here we
got a warning that the licenseserver is not installed on a domaincontroller,
but this maybe not the problem and in the manual it will be advise against.
We have also try to change the TS-license server to the SBS 2008 server, but
the licenseserver will also not issued license. The warning that the
licenseserver is not installed on a domaincontroller is disappeared. No other
error or warning is existing.
The Detection Mode from the TS-license server is set on automatic and the
Terminal Server- licensing Mode is set on "Per User".
We have the Terminal Server added to Remote Web-workplace. Here we get the
following message when we try to login:
"The remote computer disconnected the session because of an error in the
licensing protocol. Please try connecting to the remote computer again or
contact you server administrator."
Have someone any idee, what goes wrong??
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Nico Hendriks
