MS Terminal Services ActiveX control
I have replicated this problem on a second computer, so I know I am not
crazy. I am trying to connect to my employer's network using a terminal
services activex control. I navigate to a page that shows up blank, and it
instructs me to "Click or hit the spacebar to use this activex control", and
then nothing happens. Process explorer shows no new processes kicking off, no
CPU activity after this happens.
The truly strange part is that the first time I attempted to use this setup,
everything worked fine - I was able to connect and RDP to my work desktop. It
is only on subsequent attempts that I get the blank page, eventually followed
by a VBScript error "Unknown reason for disconnect".
After struggling with one system for a while, I decided to move over to a
second. Same thing happened - works fine the first time, and never again
after that.
I have deleted and re-installed the control, I have tweaked security setting
in IE, I have shut down firewalls, and nothing seems to work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
