Test Messaging

When I try to send a text message to the mobile phone of one of my contacts
through WLM, I get the following error.

This message was not sent because messages can't be sent to this mobile
number.

This started when we both upgraded to WLM 8.5. Prior to that, everything
was fine. All of my other contacts work fine. This contact is on the same
network as others that I can text. I get the same error with her family
members on her account but her wireless provider says nothing is blocked. I
can text her from my phone as can anyone else. It's clearly and WLM issue.
Can anyone help?

I am having the same problem with the following error message "This message
was not sent because messages can't be sent to this contact's mobile service
provider. View a list of providers that support mobile message". The
recipient is on Verizon and I can send to other Verizon cell phones. In
addition, I had been successfully sending to this number all of this year
until about a month ago. I've tried WLM version 8.1 and 2008 and both have
the same error. I can even send to my own phone which is on the same cell
phone account as the one that fails and the numbers are the same except the
last two digits. I have tried deleting the contact and changing the phone
number of a contact that works to the failing number. Makes no difference.
Still fails to that one phone number.

I am having the exact same problem do either of you know how to fix it? if so
please e-mail me at i have been trying to fix this
for over a week and the IM worked fine last monday morning but that night it
would not send to one contact.
