IS there a way I can test ad auth in time intervals, for example once every
minute to identify bottlenecks

Thanks,
Altria

What sorts of bottlenecks are you looking for?

I am looking for a simple way to see if any delays occur in authentication
process. Really a login and bind check to AD.

I am in the middle of a build out for 60 K + user in AD. Need something to
see if AD can handle the load for authentication?
I might be going about this wrong but are there any tools to use to monitor
AD health in this scenario?
Mind you that this is testing phase....So i would like to see how AD breaks

Thanks,
Altria

Well, there are always delays - that is the nature of a network.

IMHO, AD will have no trouble with 60,000 users. But where you might have
problems is if the hardware is underpowered.

I'd suggest you continue your search in a networking or active directory
related newsgroup. Yes, there might be a scripting solution, but from the
sound of it you would be better off looking for whatever types of solutions
may already exist.
