Text not appearing

Whenever I type the letter "T" in a chat window, it never shows up, just as a
blank space.

More than likely what's happened is you've added an emoticon with 'T' and it's calling upon
that when you use the t key.

To remove it, press Alt on the keyboard, choose Tools, then Emoticons, find 'T' on the list
and choose Remove.
