I recently bought a new PC and have Home Vista Premium and all Windows
Mail, Calendar, Contacts and Windows Live Messager preloaded on my pc.

Q1 - Is there any difference between the abovementioned Window Mail,
Contacts, Calendar, Messaging already preloaded on my PC and those of
Windows Live platform available on www.one.live.com?

I am using yahoo email client for all my current email client address and
the same login ID for instant messaging.

Q1 - Does Windows Live Hotmail allow me to upload or export all my existing
emails, calendar and notes from yahoo to Windows Hotmail, Windows Calendar
and Messaging platform?

Q2 - Are windows hotmail, calendar and notes available live on the web to
enable me to access the info on any pcs around the world?

The one at www.one.live.com looks like a webmail interface to the live.com
mail servers. Windows Mail can't connect using a webmail connection.

There is also an email/newsreader program available named Windows Live
Mail.

http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview

Unlike Windows Mail, it can connect using the HTTP protocol. Also, it
keeps the email from different servers in separate versions of the Local
Folders, instead of sharing one version of Local Folders between all
the mail providers you connect to.

For more information about Windows Live Mail, it is the main subject
of discussion in newsgroup:

microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

There are also a number of other programs in the Windows Live
family.

To connect either one of them to yahoo.com, you'll need to either pay
extra or install a conversion program.

You may have to ask yahoo.com.sg where to find similar information for
their mail servers.

Check if the date on your computer is set a few weeks off.

Windows Live Mail can connect to mail servers that require the HTTP
protocol; Windows Mail can't. Windows Live Hotmail is yet another
program. Windows Live Mail will automatically copy over any messages
stored under Windows Mail for the same user on the same maschine,
as it is installed.

Yahoo has a number of servers for various countries and certain
internet providers. Which one do you mean?
