Are there any real benifits to installing Sp 2.?

We were advised by our company computer experts not to install it on our
computers,almost every forum much dissatisfaction can be heard about the
problems experienced since installing SP.2. The little things one used to
enjoy using their computer seems to go through the window after installing
such .a programme the last thing I've heard is "the programme stincks" so I
still have it in the download cue listening to and reading of the many
problems my comrades are experiencing and hoping that someone would tell us
the truth about sp2 :are we ready ,or are we not ready for sp2 , we want
security Yes but we also want to enjoy using our computers .
