Hi there!
I've got a Turion 64 MT-28(1.6G) CPU and a K8T890 board,after installed
Vista Ultimate(Simplified Chinese OEM) it seemd that my CPU keeps running at
800 Mhz and this makes my system slow.I 've tried to adjust the power
managment function to performance but in vain.Under XP SP2 CPU is running
under 1600Mhz after installed the Powernow! driver. Is there any version of
AMD Powernow! driver available on Vista?
Or somebody please tell me how to solve this problem.
P.S. VIA Board HyperionPro inf has been installed already.
Thx.

Hi,

If there was one, it would come from AMD. Their download page does not list
one for Vista, only XP and Server 2003:
http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/..._14098,00.html

You may want to contact their support to see if one is forthcoming.

Of course I checked the page before I post this subject. But thanks anyway.
Mmm,seemed the only way is to wait Mr.AMD to release its new driver for Vista.
