Is there anyway to make a "secure" drive, that you must enter a password to view files?

I want to make a USB drive, so that it is encrypted, and has a security
password. I cannot figure it out for the life of me, but i need to do so in
order to transport some "important files" regarding my personal identity. I
am always logging into remote databases that require your information to
identify who you are. Anyone have a solution?

Why not use WinZip? You can compress the files and store a password with
the ZIP file.

Some USB drives come with software to do this. Kingston and Corsair have
models that come with such software, and I'm sure that there are others.
