Is there a quick/simple way (free) to build a bot...

.... and connect it to a back-end service?

For instance Twitter use a Jabber (GTalk) based bot because there's nice
open simple platorm to connect but to implement WLM Bots seems to be quite a
numbe of hoops to jump through...

Greetings,

I assume you've already read the info on the dev.live.com site so I won't repeat it, but if
you don't go through the proper hoops, your bot would just get flagged as spam and banned
from the service.

actually... I'd not seen the dev.live.com site... but that makes things a bit
clearer!
