Try this...

It's a single .exe that you can either leave on your desktop or create
shortcuts to. When you click the launch icon/shortcut a window opens
informing you that a new restore point has been successfully created with an
auto-generated-date-related name and then the window auto closes after 4
seconds.
I use it on my Vista 32bit Premium rig and it's highly recommended.
