I can see the replies to this already:

Typical Vistaboy: Why so much negativity around vista? It worked for me!

LOL

Have you installed Gutsy yet? Don't leave it too long. There have already
been 10 security vulnerability updates issued. I wouldn't like to think of
you being non-productive for too long, missing out on doing 'real' work in
AbiWord..

But anyone can make a video like that and put anything thay like in it as it
is all made up.
They could do one for Ubuntu but I doubt if there is enough interest in
Ubuntu in the world to bother.

Mike Hall the epitome of MVP stupidity!

How long has MS trained you on a leash to wag your tail whenever you see a
vista screen?

Suddenly a fanboy doesn't like updates? What happened to the old excuse
vistaboys use?
"Updates are good, that's why vista is always secure its always up to date"

Yet you throw this at Linux which there are no viruses or malware for it?

Linux is 100 to 100.000 times more secure than windows...

I must inform you that 99.99% of all windows PC's have some sort of malware
.... lol

They have the nerve to say "vista is secure" that is an INSULT!!!!

on Linux you have zero viruses and malware....

I told you I am waiting for the CD. Windows never has updates? Giggle.
ABI Word works really well for invoices. Yaknow, the kind where your
clients put money in your bank account? Some people spend time on fancy
dancy Word docs while others, such as myself, spend time on making money
and have no need for that kind of ****.

Did you watch the video? What a hoot!

So maybe you can explain the fact that there are security vulnerability
updates for Ubuntu if Linux is immune from them?

I have no problem with updates, and run updates on Vista, XP and Ubuntu. I
am not the idiot who says updates are bad. Look to your 'friends' who make
these claims.

I, and others, also reserve the right to run whatever OS suits best. People
who come here to get Vista issues fixed should be allowed to do so in peace,
and not be harassed by the likes of you.

You would get more credibility if you dropped the name calling, but you and
others seem unable to bolster your cases without doing so.

Compared to Windows, Linux is bullet proof. No OS is immune.

Does "vistaboy" count as name calling? I cant get more polite with total
idiots sorry.
I think you can be both credible and name call at the same time. If no one
has done it before, I will be the first!

Linux updates are not for viruses and spyware.. rather other security
issues... for example ways for
hackers to gain control over the system. But most linux updates are not
about security.. but updates (more like upgrades) for the multitude of
applications each distro has.

Exactly so, and many Linux machines are carriers of vulnerabilities. In
fact, many vulnerabilities are generated from Linux machines. Open Office,
installed as part of Ubuntu and other distros is subject to vulnerabilities.

Unfortunately, there is more to choosing an OS than the fact it is 'bullet
proof' or anywhere close, a fact that you choose to overlook.
