I do an update for my laptop for windows xp home edition severial
times,but every time I failed.It tells me that I was not the administrator
or there are some setttings of net that prevent me to update the system. I do
logo the system as the administrator.so I wonder what are the net settings ?
I have try many times and failed! I need your help ! Thank you !

Another cause for Administrator only message can occur if a program on your computer

Thank you for your help. I received it severial days ago and tried every
method provided but I failed. And I tried the last method --using the
recovery function the laptop(IBM R51) owned. I was lucky that it recoveried
and the problems all were settled: )
