Flo,
I finally got a quick easy fix for my problem from Sally Tang at Microsoft.
I've pasted her instructions below. Hope it works for you as well as it did
for me:
Dear Donna,
Thank you for your update. I am sorry to hear that the problem persists and
appreciate your time and effort on this issue. According to other customers'
feedback, this issue is related by the WGADiag2.exe tool. I also suggest
using the WGA diagnostic tool to check the issue
===================
1. Please open Internet Explorer and visit the following link to download
the WGA Diagnostic Tool:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012
2. Save the WGADiag2.exe file to Desktop, and then double click on the file
to run the tool. After running the tool, please return to Windows Update and
see if the issue is resolved.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Sally
