After booting up the computer and logging on, everything works for ~
minutes before the bottom bar freezes up. Turning on the task manage
does nothing to help as that too freezes up right away. Minimizing a ta
means losing it for good and the recovery disks do not seem to b
working at all. I have tried to use a system restore, but that di
nothing to fix the problem. I have used two different (Safe) viru
scanners and they were not able to find/fix the problem, which makes m
think that this is a problem with the hardware. Any help would b
    greatly appreciated. :

By the way I am running Vista x64 and this started happening within
    week of it being purchased.....:cry

That might be true, but I would rather wait for someone that isn't

I'm not a guest. That because you are accessing this group via a web site
    that steals posts from MS.
