I am trying to burn a cd with a minute of a song, then 30 seconds of nothing,
then a minute of song, 30 seconds, so on and so forth... Is this possible
with windows media player? All I've been able to find for editing is Advanced
Tag Editor, and that just adds in lyrics and stuff like that. That is no use
to me. Your help is greatly appreciated!!! I really need to know asap!

No, not using WMP. Using Roxio or Nero should probably work there.

Ok, totally figured this out!! Yes! If you have windows movie maker on your
computer, you can click something about importing from the file menu, import
the music file as long as you have ripped it onto the computer, and split it
from there. for more info, go to
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0070.mspx#EHD
and it will have a link to open windows movie maker if you are unsure if you
have it. It will also have instructions on how to use it to split a song.
