Cannot play DAT file in ver 7.1 media player

    I am using Windows Media Player 7.1 in Windows 2000 professional system. When I play DAT file extension, it give error message as "No combination of filters could be found to render the stream"

  2. DAT is not exactly a supported file type. Is it MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 video?
