Click on one link but get something else.

Discussion in 'Internet Explorer' started by Nathansigmanu, Oct 25, 2006.

  1. When ever I search on google or yahoo I am redirected to another link. Lets
say I look up tige boats. I click on www.tige.com the first link and am
redirected to something else. Then I will press the back button and do it
again and am redirected to something else again, then I press the back button
again. I will click the link for the third time and then I will finally go
to the correct link. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I have run
adaware and virus scans and nothing comes up.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
