Drop Down Boxes Don't Work in Internet Explorer 7.0

Discussion in 'Internet Explorer' started by Qualityphaedrus, Jan 29, 2007.

  1. I'm having a problem with my company's website. The drop down boxes across
the top don't work when viewed in IE 7.0. The page is edited using
Dreamweaver. Any idea how to change the code to make the drop down boxes
functional again? I'm currently using the basic onMouseOver and onMouseOut
    commands.

    Thanks!

    Hi Quality,
Web site Address? I don't think you find many ppl here who use Dreamweaver
so access to your source is requied.
You may also like to try any Dreamweaver forums that you know of.
    Regards.

  3. Thanks for your response, Rob.

The website is www.pacificbridge.com. The menu items across the top should
have dropdown boxes (which work fine with IE 6.0).

    Thanks!

    Hi Quality,

You need to change dqm_script.js to detect version 7 of Internet Explorer.

You will see numerous references to ie6 in the script. You need to add a
line to detect version 7 + numerous other changes where the browser version
is used. If this script was generated by Dreamweaver, check with them for an
    update.

    Regards.
