MCE DVD subtitles won't go away!

After the upgrade, I generally like most of the changes
(visual enhancements, being able to connect via Remote
Desktop, etc.) However, I've been having a problem
playing DVDs in MCE. Regardless of how I configure
things, the DVD always shows English subtitles. I can
set the DVD to no subtitles as well as go into the MCE
settings and set to Disc Default or none, but nothing
seems to work -- I always get the subtitles. It's
enormously frustrating. I've just been playing DVDs with
    NvDVD.

What am I missing? Replies to brockhjones at hotmail dot
    com appreciated.

    Thanks!

  2. Not sure if MC deals with the subtitles through the DVD software or not but
it's worth a look. Do you have more than one DVD player software installed?
If so, make sure that all of them are set to the same subtitle settings.
Preferably, you should really only have one DVD player installed so MCE
    knows which one to use.
