Setting up Storage Folders in Windows Live Mail

Discussion in 'Windows Live Mail' started by Roger Fachini II, Sep 19, 2009.

  1. Hi, I just had my laptop repaired and I'm setting up programs again.
In Windows Live Mail, I seem unable to set up folders for disc storage of
e-mails. I can create new folders but they show upon the @msn.com server.
I'd like to set up some named folders I can drag mail into for storage on my
    hard drive.

    Thanks!

(Alt) View, Layout, Folder pane, check Show Storage folders. Non accounts
    folders go in Storage folders.

  3. Thanks so much for the quick response, Ron. This was exactly what I needed.
Why it isn't the default, and why it doesn't show up when searching the Help
menu- I'm not sure. :) Take care!
